Bank with us
The best way you can support our work as a social enterprise is by banking with us. By choosing to borrow, invest or take out insurance with Community Bank Gisborne & District, you help deliver more funds back into your community.
Spread the word
If you already bank with us, then the next most powerful thing you can do is tell your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues.
You can also follow us on social media: by sharing and engaging with our content, you help demonstrate how banking with us makes a real difference.
If you’re part of a local community group, then consider applying for funding. In return, you can help us spread the word among your members and volunteers. If you’ve already received funding and would like to acknowledge us, please email community@mrce.com.au for a copy of our partnership matrix and logos.
Become a Shareholder
Support our investment in your local community by becoming a local shareholder of Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises Ltd!
Initially we raised $716,400 from locals to create our social enterprise and secure our Bendigo Bank franchise. While the majority of our initial shareholders are still on board, occasionally parcels of shares become available through our ASIC-approved Low-Volume Market (LVM) system.
Each shareholder receives an annual dividend and has one vote on constitutional matters at our Annual General Meeting . For more information, including trading history and registration forms, see: Trading Shares in Macedon Ranges Community Enterprises Ltd on the Bendigo Bank website.
Join our Board
Each year, we seek expressions of interest from local residents to join our volunteer Board. Directors support and drive our company's strategic direction and have a real say in how we invest our profits back into the community.
We welcome applications from local residents of all backgrounds. To be eligible, you must be a resident of Gisborne, New Gisborne, Bullengarook, Riddells Creek, Macedon, Mount Macedon or Woodend.
If you're well-organised, self-directed and community-orientated with strong communication skills, we encourage you to get in touch with our Chief Executive Officer, Jo-Ann Irwin, via ceo@mrce.com.au
Partner with us
